Julie Wood, Education Program Manager

Julie WoodJulie is the Education Program Manager at the UW-Madison Small Business Development Center. She is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation of new program ideas and process improvement of the non-credit business continuing education programs. Julie is also a certified Franklin Covey facilitator and currently teaches the Five Choices for Extraordinary Productivity Class. She is also the director of the summer Youth Entrepreneur Camp for middle-school aged kids.


Rena Gelman, Consultant

Rena Gelman SBDC ConsultantRena Gelman is a business consultant with the UW-Madison Small Business Development Center. Areas of expertise include restaurants, cafes, coffee houses and food carts. Specializes in HR problem solving, financial planning and business growth. Clients include start up and existing businesses. Ms. Gelman also manages of the Wisconsin Business AnswerLine.


Linda Davis, Consultant

Linda Davis, SBDC ConsultantLinda Davis is a consultant with the UW-Madison SBDC. Specific industry experience in manufacturing, national retail business administration, financial services, real estate development and biotechnology. Specializes in market research, financial analysis and federal grant writing. Manages the Madison Entrepreneurial Training Program.


Christine Gruneberg, Education Program Coordinator

Chris is the Education Program Coordinator at the UW-Madison Small Business Development Center. She is responsible for the logistical planning, material and registration coordination and instructor communications for the center’s non-credit business continuing education programs. Chris also has expertise in Government procurement and assists clients in this area as needed.


Tara Brown, Marketing Specialist

Tara BrownIn addition to marketing the programs and services of the Wisconsin SBDC at UW-Madison, Tara Brown supports business education programs and consulting services. She also manages financial duties, client records management and web updates.
